About Me
Hi, I’m Whitley! I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate who is passionate about walking alongside people as they navigate life transitions, make meaning of their experiences, and move toward healing.
I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, and I have experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, family conflict, identity, low self-esteem, and challenges with intimacy. My style is warm, accepting, and supportive. My goal is to create a comforting space that nurtures both personal and relational growth, and where you can feel safe staying open to new ways of thinking.
How I Work
I tailor therapy to your unique needs, drawing from approaches that are strengths-based, attachment-oriented, and client-centered. We’ll work together to understand what’s happening beneath the surface, build on what’s already working, and take steps that feel meaningful to you.
Clinical Orientation
My approach is grounded in Narrative Therapy, and I often incorporate tools from:
Solution-Focused Therapy
Mindfulness & Somatic Techniques
Systemic Family Therapy
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Play Therapy
I draw on whichever tools best fit you, your family, and the goals we set together.
Who I Work With
I currently work with clients ages 6 and up, and I welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds. I thoroughly enjoy celebrating every client’s uniqueness. I offer individual, couples, and family counseling. Whether you’re coming in on your own or with your partner or family, I would love to meet you!
Sessions & Availability
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions for flexibility and comfort. I see clients in person at our Beaverton office on Sundays and Mondays, and virtually on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I can see clients located in both Oregon and Washington.
Insurance Made Easy
I accept the following insurance plans:
Kaiser Permanente
Aetna
Moda Health Plan
Providence Health Plan
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Self-pay is also welcome.
A Bit About Me
When I’m not in session, I enjoy being outside hiking or disc golfing, trying new restaurants around the area, and reading at home with a cup of coffee.
