Insurance Changes
Clients are responsible for notifying our billing department of any changes to their insurance coverage. It is essential to confirm that your insurance is active and accepted before continuing services. Failure to do so may result in the client being financially responsible for any charges not covered by insurance.

Payment
Base Behavioral Health uses InboxHealth to provide you with an invoice, stating how much you owe after services with us. This invoice is automated to you once your insurance has processed your therapy visit. You will be notified to pay your invoice through email, text and post mail. Please keep us updated with your contact details to ensure contact. *Please be sure to check your Junk/Spam folders for emails labeled from “Base Behavioral Health.”
How to Pay Invoice
From the email and text statements you will have the option to use a “Quick Pay Link” to go to the InboxHealth portal to make payments on the balance with any credit card.
Once logged into InboxHealth portal, you can choose to set up a “Self Directed Payment Plan.” The system will request a set credit card on file that will be charged any balance that has accumulated near the end of each month
*We ask that no more than 2 visits go unpaid once statements have been received or we have the right to pause services.
Financial Assistance
We understand financial situations can change. If you're having trouble paying for services, please contact our billing department—we’re here to help ensure your care continues.
Surprise Billing Protection
You are protected from surprise or balance billing when receiving emergency care or services from out-of-network providers at in-network facilities. Balance billing occurs when a provider bills you for the difference between what your insurance pays and the full cost of care. This practice is not allowed for emergency services and certain in-network hospital or surgical center treatments. In these cases, you're only responsible for your usual costs like copays or deductibles, and your insurance must cover the rest.
