About Me
Hi, I’m Kaya! I’m a master’s-level Clinical Psychology Student and Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), and I care deeply about helping people find steadier ground when life feels overwhelming. I work with adults and have experience supporting people navigating OCD, anxiety, and depression. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and down-to-earth, and I want our sessions to feel like a place where you can be honest without worrying about being judged.
How I Work
I tailor therapy to your unique needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centered therapy. Together, we’ll get curious about the thoughts and patterns keeping you stuck and build practical skills you can use outside of session.
Clinical Orientation
My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I often incorporate tools from:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
ERP is one of the most effective treatments for OCD, and I’ll always move through it collaboratively and at a pace you’re comfortable with.
Who I Work With
I currently work with adults 18 and up, and I welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds. I do not currently offer couples or family therapy.
Sessions & Availability
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions for flexibility and comfort. I see clients at our Beaverton office and virtually on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Insurance Made Easy
I accept the following insurance plans:
Kaiser Permanente
Providence Health Plan
Self-pay is also welcome.
A Bit About Me
When I’m not in session, I enjoy spending time outdoors, trying new things, and watching a good movie. I believe small, steady steps can lead to real change, and I’d be glad to take those steps with you.
