Philosophy and Approach

I believe that we each possess what is needed to fulfill our aspirations and align with our own set of values. I employ an eclectic approach with a strong reliance on existential, client-centered, and systemic techniques.

Education and Experience

I hold a bachelor’s degree in social work from San Diego State University and a Master’s degree in Addiction Counseling from Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies and I am certified in the State of Oregon as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor III (CADCIII). Major course work included human growth and development, group and individual therapy, evidence-based practices, assessment and treatment planning, research and clinical practice, and psychopharmacology. I have worked in the field of addiction since 2017 with people of all ages, cultural backgrounds, and advocacy needs.
