About Me

Hi, I’m Sara! I’m a licensed Psychologist, who is passionate about supporting people through life’s transitions, challenges, and healing journeys. With two decades of experience under my belt, I remain deeply passionate about my work with clients.

I work with teens and adults and have experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, life transitions, relationship issues, mitigating chronic workplace stress and the unique emotional labor of education, low self-esteem, body acceptance, healing one's relationship with food, grief and loss, and trauma. My style is warm, nonjudgmental, strength-based and down-to-earth. I strive to create a safe space where you can be fully seen and heard, connecting with your authentic self.

How I Work

I tailor therapy to your unique needs, drawing from approaches such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based therapy, and person-centered care. Whether you're looking to process emotions, break old patterns, or work toward specific goals, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

Clinical Orientation

My approach is grounded in a combination of evidenced-based Cognitive-Behavioral and Insight-Oriented frameworks. I provide trauma-informed, person-centered, strength-based care, and I often incorporate tools from:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Mindfulness & Somatic Techniques

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) or Parts Work

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Attachment-focused inner child healing

Every client is unique, and I adapt my work to best meet your unique needs, goals, and preferences.

Who I Work With

I currently work with individuals ages 13 and up, and I welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds. I'm a LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent affirming provider. I have vast experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults in a variety of settings with complex mental health needs, providing both individual and group work. I do not currently offer couples or family therapy.

A Bit About Me

When I’m not in session, I enjoy music, creative expression, hiking with my pups, traveling the world to learn about other cultures, meaningful connection with others, skiing, exploring new recipes, and spending time with my loved ones. I believe therapy can be a space not only for healing, but also for rediscovery, empowerment, and hope.
